Apple AirPods are flying off the shelves, according to recent reports the AirPod demands are so high that the manufacturer is adding more working hours to meet them. Inventec, who is the only company that is currently manufacturing the Apple AirPods reportedly added extra shifts to increase the manufacturing capacity.
AirPods are already lagging behind time, the actual launch was pretty late than expected. Currently, if you order the AirPods from Apple’s online store it will take six weeks until it gets delivered to your home. And the retail store pickup orders are also held until February 21, 2017.
The AirPods feature Apple’s new W1 chip for easy Bluetooth connectivity with the multiple iOS devices. It also has some cool features like double tap to invoke Siri and auto pause and play that will pause the audio as you take the one bud out and plays it again as soon as you put it back. The extra long stems have built-in microphones and they also serve as Bluetooth antennas.
