Dota 2 – 7.00 update: Everything you need to know about

Patch 7.00 is now live and it brings massive changes to the Dota 2, following is everything you need to know about this new update.

New Hero

The new update introduces a new hero the Monkey king. “Always in search of a good fight, Monkey King travels atop the trees aiming to spring from leafy cover and surprise his enemies. Calling upon an army of monkey soldiers to overwhelm opponents, this agile trickster revels in the chaos of battle, ready to slam his legendary staff down on any hopes of escape.” You can read about the new Monkey King here.

New Hud

7.00 patch features a completely  redesigned game interface, allowing the players to see more map areas and multiple new ways to see details of what’s happening in each game. You can read more about it here.

New Pregame

The update also brings some new tools to help you prepare for the battle. These tools will help the players to find the right heroes and plan their early-game attack as a team, all while the game loads seamlessly in the background so it’s ready when you are. New Gameplay

The biggest changes came in the gameplay department, begin ‘The New Journey’. The new gameplay elements introduce features like Hero Talent Tree, Hero Level Changes, Backpack which will allow the players to carry three additional elements, Map Changes, Illusions, Item Changes, Hero Changes, and other general changes. Programmers can now create the Dota bots using the new scripting API. This update also introduces redesigned models for Slardar, Viper, and Enigma.
