Facebook just added another big feature into their messaging App. Yesterday Facebook announced that their Messenger app can now support up to 50 participants, which means you can now group call up to 50 friends at a time. This feature puts the Facebook Messenger ahead of both Skype and Google hangouts, both have 10 users limit. With this move, Facebook is clearly planning to take over the Industrial market.
The new update is now live all you have to do is go to the Play Store or App Store and update the Messenger App. Once connected, the app will display the camera feeds of first six participants in a grid layout. After the participant number exceeds six, the app will only display the camera feed of person in charge. Making it a great tool for the big conference calls.
After constantly taking “inspirations” from the Snapchat and adding features like this into its consumer app, It is clear that Facebook wants to own both consumer and Industrial markets.
