Nintendo’s first ever smartphone game Super Mario Run is launching next week on the iOS, Android users will get it later in 2017. Super Mario Run introduces classic run and jump gameplay experience to the modern era of smartphone gaming. The game is specifically designed for easy one hand use and to achieve this Nintendo made slight changes in the original gameplay, Mario now automatically runs across the screen allowing players to control only jump actions. Super Mario Run is officially launching on December 15 for iOS users, although you can play a demo of the game right now by visiting the Apple store. The game will be free to play for the first few levels, but to unlock more content you will have to purchase the full game at $9.99. It will require only one-time purchase which means there are no further microtransactions.
On Wednesday Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s late night show to promote the Super Mario Run. Where he also revealed the first ever public demo of Nintendo Switch running The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. You can check out the video footage below,
