According to a recent report, Samsung is likely to hold a separate Galaxy S8 event in the New York instead of announcing it at the Mobile World Congress 2017. The event is rumored to scheduled on March and the phone is expected to go on sale in the mid-April. But as you already know this is 2017, which means nothing stays hidden. Last week a website called /leaks shared the alleged leaked image of Samsung Galaxy S8. Today it happened again but this time in the form of a promotional. This could be your first look at the new Samsung Galaxy S8,
Samsung AMOLED Display
As you can see from the video, Samsung is showing off their AMOLED display technology with the mysterious device. Surprisingly the showcased phone matches exactly with the leaked renders. Of course, this could be a complete coincidence but similarities are uncanny. There are no home button and navigation keys whatsoever. And if the previous leaks were true, then the navigation key area will be replaced by the Samsung logo. The fingerprint sensor is probably on the back panel or integrated into the sleep-wake button.
There is no news on the hardware or the specification of the new Samsung Galaxy S8, all we know now is it will be Daydream ready which indicates the Snapdragon 821. It is expected to come with 4/6GB RAM, Super AMOLED QHD display, a new better camera, 2.0 USB Type-C, and hopefully a 3.5mm Audio jack.
