According to recent rumors, Nokia is probably working on its own Digital Assistant. The news broke when the company filed a new trademark code-named “Viki”. Viki is said to be a web-based AI application that will help the users with their queries. The application is supposed to have a chat and voice-based interface similar to the Google Assistant.
If launched, Viki will be the another web-based digital assistant joining Siri, Cortana, Amazon Alexa and the Google Assistant in the list. Samsung is also reportedly working on a new digital assistant for the Galaxy S8. The real question is, Do we really need another web-based AI in our life?
Presently, they all do pretty much the same thing, Google Assistant being more accurate. Feel free to share your thoughts down in the comment section.
Recently HMD Global officially announced the upcoming Nokia branded smartphone, the new Nokia 6. The smartphone is exclusively launching in China for 1699 CNY, It will be available to purchase through JD.com.
