Today at CES 2017 TCL unveiled the new Blackberry smartphone for 2017. The smartphone is so new that it doesn’t even have an official name yet. Unlike DTEK50 and DTEK60 Blackberry’s new smartphone features a dual touch and keyboard design. There is a fingerprint scanner built into the space key and the entire keyboard can be used as a track-pad to navigate through the user interface.
The smartphone is currently codenamed as “Mercury” supposedly to be named as DTEK70. But this new Blackberry is very different from the DTEK series smartphones and reminds us more of the Blackberry Prev, maybe that’s why the company is still holding back the naming ceremony.
There is no official news on the Specification, pricing, or the availability of the device. The phone is in the very early stage that they didn’t even allow the journalist to share the details regarding UI or the Operating system.
Stay tuned for the updates.
