Microsoft has officially announced the new Surface Laptop running on the Windows 10 S operating system. Yesterday, A Twitter user WalkingCat shared some images of this new laptop confirming the design and few hardware details. The model with Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage is priced at $999.
Panos Panay said, “The performance of this device is absolutely amazing, Microsoft is using the latest Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, and claims the battery life will last for 14.5 hours as a result. Microsoft claims the Surface Laptop is faster than the i7 MacBook Pro, and it has “more battery life than any MacBook Air on the market today.”
The Surface laptop weighs just 3 pounds and it will come in four color variants namely platinum, burgundy, cobalt blue, and graphite gold. Microsoft will start shipping the Surface Laptop on June 15th, 2017.
