Microsoft is paying UK consumers to use Bing search engine

Today Microsoft is launching their Rewards Program in the UK. Microsoft has developed this program to get more people using their Bing search engine. The program was earlier available only in the US, Microsoft is now providing the same scheme to the UK consumers.

According to the Rewards Program, users will get 3 points per search query performed on the Bing search engine. If you are using Microsoft’s edge browser then you will get the double points until August 15, 2017. The users can then redeem these points to get different rewards, including popular games, movies, Skype credits, Xbox gift cards, and music passes. Microsoft is also planning to join forces with some UK charities to allow the users to make donations using these points.

Initially, you can earn up to 30 points per day, 60 points if you are using Microsoft’s Edge browser. In addition to the 3 points per Bing search, Microsoft is also offering 1 point for every pound spend at Microsoft’s UK online store. You can participate in quizzes to earn some extra points. If the user manages to get 500 points in one month then there is a second level of rewards with some better options and the chance to earn up to 150 points per day.

Microsoft is trying really hard to convince people using their Bing search engine. Microsoft Rewards is currently available in the US and UK, with the expected launch for Germany, France, and Canada in the coming months.

Stay tuned for the updates.
