Twitch signs a deal with Blizzard to stream e-sports tournaments

The video game streaming service Twitch has signed a deal with Blizzard Entertainment to stream big e-sports events. Twitch now has two-year third-party streaming rights for some of the biggest e-sport tournaments. Blizzard has provided them third-party rights so at this point it is unclear if this deal gives any kind exclusivity to the streaming giant.

Under this contract twitch now has rights to live stream Overwatch, Hearthstone, Starcraft and other big Blizzard Entertainment e-sports tournaments. As part of this deal, Twitch will be offering in-game loots for Overwatch, Hearthstone, and Heroes of Storm. It will start with Overwatch players getting the Golden Loot Box that promises a legendary item.

Stay tuned for the updates.
