Pokemon Go is getting a new official ring accessory which will allow you to control the game using your fingers. The ring itself doesn’t have any functionality it is just an add on device to the Pokemon Go Plus. Instead of wearing the Plus on your wrist you can attach it to the ring and operate it using your fingers.
Holding the Pokemon Go Plus device in your palm rather than wearing it on your wrist sounds like a more practical approach. It is going to launch tomorrow in Japan and it is priced at around $4. The ring doesn’t come with the Pokemon Go Plus device, you either have to buy it separately or buy them as a combo.
There is no news about when Niantic is going to launch this accessory in other regions. Considering their track history it is safe to say that it will be coming soon to US, Europe, and Australia.
Stay tuned for the updates.
