There are only a few hours left before the next iPhone announcement. Apple is about to announce the next generation of iPhones for this year. According to the rumors, the next iPhone will feature the wireless charging and all new edge to edge display. Just a day before the official iPhone announcement Qualcomm has published a blog post to remind everyone how Android is always a step ahead of the iPhones.
The official blog post reads, “Qualcomm Technologies has enabled some notable world firsts on Android, and some remain Android exclusives to this day. Although by no means comprehensive, here are a number of technologies and respective mobile devices where they appeared that paved the way for others to come.”
“We’re working on inventing the next set of world firsts and collaborating with partners across the industry to get them into your hands, on a band around your wrist, or with lenses for over your eyes. Here’s to the next generation of mobile device start-ups and innovators, competing to bring you the next wave of class-leading Android devices. As before, they’ll continue to pave the way for others to come.”
As we already know, Apple and Qualcomm are currently engaged in a global patent licensing dispute. It looks like Qualcomm is trying to take a digg at Apple by calling out all the Android first features.
Stay tuned for the updates.
