HTC 10 announced : Fresh design and Boomsound upgrade

HTC has officially announced its flagship HTC 10 today. The new HTC 10 is the successor to its previous flagship HTC M9, for some reasons HTC decided to drop the letters and named the device HTC 10.
The device features aluminium uni body design with chamfered edges on the back and a fingerprint scanner at the bottom. HTC 10 comes up with 5.15" Quad HD display, 4GB of RAM, 12MP camera with laser autofocus, USB Type-C, 3000mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner, 5MP front camera its own optical image stabilization and upgraded Boomsound audio. The new design is inspired by the last year's M9 and last fall's A9, HTC said they have spent 12 months in designing this new flagship. The design looks fresh yet familiar. The software is also improved, it looks much closer to Google's stock android which is a most welcome change. Check out the detailed specification sheet below,

HTC 10 is priced at $699 and it will start shipping from next month. The device is looking promising, but nothing new or groundbreaking. LG added the Magic slot support, Samsung made the phone waterproof and more ergonomically better which means HTC 10 is up for a tough competition.
