At E3 2016 Bethesda announced the Remastered version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim , officially titled as the Special Edition. In the recent interview with IGN Bethesda's vice president Pete Hines said the Special Edition is aiming to be as Next-Gen as possible, and the player should expect a range of changes. Although Hines didn't say much about what kind of changes are coming to the Remastered version.

Hines further said " We haven't gotten into the full, 'Here's all the things we're doing.' But the basic idea is, in all the ways possible we're trying to improve it and make it as next-gen and appropriate for these consoles as possible,Performance, effects, or whatever we can do to make the game look and feel better, we're going to give it a go."

The Remaster version will come with the improved graphics and visual effects including new snow shaders, god-rays, landscapes and more. Following video shows the graphics comparison between the Original Elder Scrolls V and the Special edition,

The above video clearly shows the graphics looks so much better in the Remastered version but , it is still the old game and not something completely built from the scratch.

Skyrim's Special Edition is scheduled to launch on October 28, 2016 and it will come to Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms. The Special Edition's console version will support PC mods.

Stay tuned for updates.
