Sony has announced a $25 dongle which will add the full DualShock 4 support to both Windows PCs and Mac OS X computers. Users were already able to pair the new DualShock 4 controllers to PC and Mac via Bluetooth or USB cord but this new dongle will unlock the all capabilities of DualShock 4 controller.

The device is priced at $24.99 and will start shipping from September 2016. According to Sony this dongle gives the full access to the buttons, touch pad, analog stick, motion sensors, vibrations, stereo headphone jack and even the light bar. So the main motive here is to provide a better and immersive experience for the users who are playing PS4 games on Mac and PCs via either Remote Play or PS Now. Sony itself providing its native device for support means you don't have to depend on the third party accessories.

Althogh the device only support one DualShock 4 controller but you can always connect the second controller via USB to play multiplayer games on PC. It is good to see Sony taking care of its users and  providing accessories for third party platforms.

Stay tuned for updates.
